Goldmine Nectarine (Low-chill) This is a popular variety of nectarine bred in New Zealand. It is red and yellow in appearance with white flesh. Fruit matures in late February - March and is in abundance. This variety has good resistance to leaf-curl. This is a low-chill variety suitable for both temperate and subtropical climates. Use as a fruiting specimen tree or for commercial growing. Fruit is ideal for eating fresh, for preserves, pies or frozen. Keep watered and fertilised for good fruit supply. |
