Simone Cherry This variety produces large fruit. Cherries are almost the size of a small plum. Fruit is tasty, black and succulent. It is self-pollinating although having another variety will increase its yield. Harvest time is late December to early January. It is similar in appearance to 'Lapin'. This variety ideal home garden variety and bears consistent crops. It is self-pollinating. It is considered a good fruit for eating. Relatively split resistant. it is suitable for growing in warm temperate and cool temperate regions. |
