Felix Magnolia (deciduous) An attractive hybrid deciduous Magnolia with many lateral branches often becoming broader with age. Flowers are large, perfumed and goblet-shaped, and deep purple fading to pale pink as they age. Flowers appear mid to late winter. Makes for a beautiful feature tree for flower and contrast in winter gardens. Prefers sunny positions with protection from hot western sun and winds. Can tolerate part sun positions, but flowering will be reduced. |
