Moon Lagoon Fine-leafed Mallee This is a dense shrub mallee with beautiful blue-green foliage when mature. In its juvenile state, its foliage is blue/silver so it is often clipped as a way to keep the blue/silver new growth. A great contrast tree in the landscape. Great for cut foliage and flower arrangements. Clipped, it is also a nice selection for hedging and screening. Perfect as a stand-alone feature or as an excellent small-screen. Prefers a landscape position in full sun and in humus-rich, well-drained soil. Once established this variety is known for being reasonably drought tolerant. Considered a reliable performer in a range of conditions. |
