Grafted Flowering Gum This grafted gum is smaller growing and has a compact habit, forming a very dense canopy. The foliage is deep green and leathery in texture with new growth emerging a bronzy tinge. During the warmer months large clusters of orange-red flowers appear covering the tree with a stand out display of spectacular colour, attracting and providing food for nectar loving birds. Superb specimen or screening tree, well suited to smaller gardens due to its smaller eventual size. Also great in streetscapes for its brilliant colour. Prefers a well drained soil in full sun or part shade. Best grown in a temperate climate with low humidity. |
