Dwarf Lemon Scented Gum This tree is a dwarf version of the much larger Australian Lemon-Scented Gum. It has the same beautiful attributes of its parent (lemon-scented foliage, smooth trunk, pinkish-white bark) but grows smaller and more compact. Unlike the more upright growing Corymbia citriodora 'Scentous', this tree has a larger, rounded canopy. It is highly bird and insect-attracting. This smaller, more compact tree lends itself more readily to residential and commercial urban applications, streetscapes and parks. While it tolerates a wide range of soil types, a well-drained soil in a full sun position is ideal. It can tolerate frost and drought. |
