Uses | Extremely useful in the landscape – both domestic and commercial. This tree is very good at attracting native birds, and works well as a feature tree or planted in multiples along a fenceline for a great native screen option. | ||
Position & Soil | The species is similar to H. bucculenta and H. multilineata and all have fairly similar cultivation requirements. While the tree copes well with humidity, it is ideally suited to areas of low summer humidity. It is tolerant of moderate frost. The species grows and flowers best in an open, very well-drained, sunny position but it will tolerate some shade. | ||
