Description	This is a very easy to grow small tree or shrub suitable for hedging, particularly in coastal areas. It has large emerald-green glossy leaves and insignificant flowers followed by berries which are bird attracting.

Uses	While this tree can be used as a gap filler in the garden, it is mostly used for hedging to 4m tall in ideal conditions.
Position & Soil	A native to New Zealand, it is tough and wind tolerant. Grows well in loam sandy, well-drained soil in either full sun or semi shade.
