Description | This tree has impressive autumn colours beginning with green leaves in the spring, then turning to a dark pinkish red during autumn. The undersides of the leaves also change from grey in the spring to pinkish in the autumn. It is usually one of the last to change to its autumn colour and usually holds its leaves longer into the season. This tree has ascending branches when young, maturing to a more rounded canopy. This tree is also known as 'Autumn Red' or 'April Splendour'. |
