Hanna Ray Bottlebrush This variety is slightly smaller in height than Callistemon 'Dawson River' and has red flowers. It is a large shrub /small tree with drooping branches. The flowers are red bottlebrush flowers. The foliage has a green-grey woolly appearance. A good variety for native plantings and gardens. Can be used as an informal hedge as well as in streetscape plantings. Great habitat for native fauna. Likes a moist, well drained soil and flowers best in a sunny position. Frost tolerant but may require watering in long dry periods. |
