Ornamental pears for year-long interest

The Callery Pear (Pyrus calleryana) is a medium-sized deciduous tree available in a number of forms to suit everyday planting situations. As such, they are a widely used ornamental urban tree.

	Pyrus calleryana 'Capital' Capital Ornamental Pear A tall, fastigiate form of ornamental pear, it has shiny green leaves that hang vertically from branches with an attractive curl. Offers great autumnal colour and blossum in spring. We have good numbers any time of year in 30cm, 40cm, 50L, 100 & 200 litre bags.
	Pyrus calleryana 'Cleveland Select' Cleveland Select Ornamental Pear A beautiful medium sized tree with a broader spread than the likes of 'Capital' at 3-6m. This is a popular tree with brilliant scarlet red foliage during the Autumn months. This is another big grower for us, with stock availalble in30cm, 40cm, 50, 100 & 200 litre bags.
	Pyrus calleryana 'Winter Glow' Winter Glow Ornamental Pear This is a semi deciduous medium growing ornamental pear that holds leaves well into late winter. Beautiful flame red foliage in autumn and white blossoms with a pink eye in early spring. We have good numbers for this season in 50 litre containers.
	Pyrus ussuriensis Manchurian Ornamental Pear Most Pyrus is popular and this one is a favourite selection. Oval shaped green leaves hang from branches that are more open on the tree. It's spread is wider too than other Pyrus selections in our range. Foliage turns a brillant red colour during Autumn. We have numbers available most of the year in sizes 30cm through 200 litres.
	Pyrus nivalis Snow Pear (Ornamental Pear) Pyrus nivalis has narrower, slightly greyish foliage and is smaller in height than the others here. It's value is in its dense round form, which is great for creating large screens or backdrops. Call us for availability in 50 litre containers and 100 litre bags.
