This festive season we will be closed from 12 noon Friday 24th of December 2024, reopening on Thursday 2nd January 2025. Seasons Greetings everyone!
Now into our second year of this collaborative Council Trialling Program, we were pleased to lead the presentations to councils, on the journey so far and open discussions on potential new material to trial going forward.
Thank you to the councils who came on board with this collaborative trialling program in year 1- 2022.
We hope the sharing of our sourcing and propagation experience over the past 12 months demonstrates just how committed we are to this program. Propagating, similar to the growing and planting of material in relation to its environment, is a learning curve for all of us.
With a program reliant on strong planning, and acknowledging long lead times in this regard, we thank those councils already committed to the year 2 - 2023 program.
Discussion on the outcomes of this program, and on the identification of species for trialling is always welcome.
If you would like to contribute to the discussion and/or investigate participating in the program itself, please contact John Simpson on 03 9554 2000.

With the research capabilities of Treenet, we have a way of recording and assessing trial material on survivability and performance in real conditions over time, closing the growing/trialling cycle and giving the industry the necessary confidence to plant better. This is critical to the second and third phase of this trialling program. To discuss requirements for the recording and loading of trial data once trial material is planted, please contact Tim Johnson at Treenet 08 7080 6310.
