Qualified Horticulturist

Tree Grower

We are seeking a qualified horticulturist to join our expert team of tree growers at our Narre Warren East Facility.  Joining our team will offer the successful applicant a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment, the urban forest, and the community at large.

As a crucial contributor to the green infrastructure, the role involves growing containerised trees that play a vital role in carbon sequestration, air purification, and temperature regulation, fostering a healthier and more sustainable urban environment.

Our expert team is at the forefront of high-quality containerised tree cultivation and as a pivotal team member, your skills will actively contribute to the production of exceptional trees adhering to the highest standards. Practical skills are not just valued but essential in this role, with responsibilities that include potting, formative pruning, plant maintenance, Integrated Pest, and Disease Management (IPDM), adherence to OH&S practices, and other general horticultural activities. Training will be provided to ensure proficiency in all aspects of our cutting-edge production processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualifications in Horticulture or practical experience in containerised tree growing.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Practical skills in potting, pruning, and plant maintenance.
• Familiarity with IPDM and commitment to OH&S standards
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team.
• A valid driver’s license is advantageous
